              Our intstitution is located in the eastern part of the country, which suffers from high unemployment (over 40%). The students are also predominatly from disadvantaged backgrounds. In country where the level of language proficiency still remains below that of western Europe, fluency in the English language will vastly improve their chances of finding employment when they leave school, or gaining admission to a higher education institution. Also, the fact that many of them have not had the opportunity or means to travel abroad, the partnership could represent their first opportunity to meet somebody from a foreign culture.
